Benzema is now expected to be sidelined for at least another month, which means he will not play in any upcoming matches for Real Madrid or the France national team until January. Despite his absence, Real Madrid has continued to perform well under coach Zinedine Zidane,Saudi Pro League Highlights winning all three of their recent matches in La Liga, including a win over arch-rivals Atletico Madrid last weekend. Meanwhile, Benzema's teammates have stepped up their efforts without him, particularly captain Luka Modric who has been leading the way for Real Madrid this season. However, it remains to be seen whether Benzema will return to full fitness before the end of the season, or if he may need surgery to repair the damage to his hamstring.
